The shock-proof methods of wooden box packing can be classified as follows:
I. Comprehensive seismic protection methods
The comprehensive shockproof packaging method refers to the packaging method that the products are filled with shockproof materials between the outer packaging and the products. According to the different shockproof materials used, it can be divided into the following categories:
1. compression packaging method
The fragile items are packed or reinforced with packaging materials to absorb the energy of vibration or shock and guide them to the most intensive part of the product. The so-called packaging materials are generally foamed cotton, Pearl cotton, bubble bags in order to facilitate the shape of complex products can also be well filled, earthquake-proof can effectively absorb energy, disperse external forces, and effectively protect products.
2. floating packaging method
Floating packaging method and compression packaging method are basically the same, the difference is that the packaging materials used are small pieces of padding, these materials can displace and flow, so as to effectively fill the gap of the part under direct force and disperse the impact of the product.
3. wrapping package method
It uses various types of sheets (such as plywood) to wrap up individual products and put them in wooden boxes. This method is mostly used in shockproof packaging of small items.
4. box packing method
Mould box packaging is to use models to make polystyrene resins and other materials into the same shape as the product box, which can be used to package the shock-proof effect. This method is mostly used in the packaging of small and light products.
5. In-situ foaming packaging
It is a shockproof packaging technology that fills foaming materials between products and outer packing boxes. This method is very simple. The main equipments include containers and spray guns containing isocyanate and polyol resin. First, the temperature and pressure in the container containing two kinds of materials should be adjusted according to the regulations. Then, the two materials should be mixed, and a single pipe is used to lead to the spray gun, which is sprayed by the spray nozzle. After 10 seconds, the ejected compounds begin to expand and expand, and in less than 40 seconds, they will expand to 100~140 times of their original volume. The foam will form polyurethane and become rigid and semi rigid foam after one minute. These foams will be wrapped in any shape. The specific procedure of foaming is as follows:
A. Spray the compound into the bottom of the outer packing box with a spray gun until it foams and expands into bread shape.
B. rapidly covers a layer of 2 m polyethylene film on the continuous foaming body.
C. will pack the packaging into foam to form a nest.
D. A 2-micron polyethylene film was quickly covered on the articles.
E. Continue to spray polyurethane compound for foaming;
F. Cover sealing for outer packing.
Part of Shock-proof Packaging
For products with good integrity and inner packing boxes (e.g. Xuzhou cartons), only use shock-proof materials to pad the corner or part of the product or inner packing. This method is called partial shock-proof packaging method. The main shock-proof materials used are foam plastic shock-proof pads, air-filled plastic film shock-proof pads, Polaroid and rubber springs.
This method is mainly based on the characteristics of the product, using less anti-seismic materials, padding in the most suitable position, in order to achieve good anti-seismic effect, and reduce packaging costs. This method is applicable to the packaging of large quantities of articles. It is widely used in the packaging of TV sets, tape recorders, washing machines, instruments and meters.
3. Suspension shockproof packaging method
For some valuable and vulnerable goods, in order to effectively ensure that they are not damaged in the circulation process, we often use strong external packaging containers to hang the goods in external packaging with tapes, ropes, rings, springs and other things, without contact with the four walls. These supports act as packaging dampers.
IV. Shock-proof Packaging in Joint Way
In practical cushioning packaging, two or more shock-proof methods are often used together. For example, both paving and filling amorphous cushioning materials can make the products more fully protected.
Sometimes cushioning materials of various materials can be combined, such as parallel connection of heterogeneous materials with equal thickness, or series connection of heterogeneous materials with equal area.
